Our Sensory Spaces.

Our sensory environments are designed to support regulation, confidence, curiosity, and connection.

Each space offers a different sensory experience and can be accessed individually or as part of a personalised sensory journey, always guided by choice, consent, and individual sensory profiles.

Glow Room

Our darker, low-light sensory space using glow and UV-based elements to create a calm, contained environment.

Supports visitors who:

  • Prefer reduced light and visual distraction
  • Enjoy contrast, glow, and gentle visual stimulation
  • Benefit from clear sensory boundaries

Features include:

  • UV and low-level lighting
  • Glowing sensory elements
  • A reassuring, enclosed layout to support regulation

Flow Room

Our larger, open space designed for movement, creativity, and dynamic sensory experiences.

Well suited for visitors who enjoy:

  • Movement, balance, and vestibular input
  • Open space to explore safely
  • Hands-on, creative sensory play

Includes:

  • A supportive chair swing
  • Open floor space for exploration
  • Tangible sensory resources
  • Opportunities for expressive and imaginative engagement

The Flow Room can be enhanced using our individual sensory menu.

Our Growth Room

A bright, welcoming sensory space inspired by light, growth, and nature.

Ideal for those who benefit from:

  • Soft lighting and natural colours
  • Calm, low-arousal environments
  • Nature-inspired sensory experiences

 

Features include:

  • Light-based sensory elements
  • Natural textures and tactile resources
  • Botanical visuals to support grounding and focus
  • Space to rest, reflect, play, or simply be

Our Wellbeing Garden

Our sensory experience continues outdoors, with open access to our Sensory Garden and shelter.

Outdoor experiences may include:

  • Engaging with plants, textures, sounds, and scents
  • Gentle horticulture activities
  • Seasonal sensory changes
  • Calm outdoor spaces for rest or exploration

When appropriate, animal-assisted experiences may also be available.
