We recognise that many of our pupils have faced complex life experiences that may have impacted their wellbeing, trust, and sense of safety. Because of this, we take a whole-school, preventative approach to safeguarding that is built on empathy, understanding, and early support.
Our aim is always to protect, empower, and help every child thrive — emotionally, socially, and academically.

- Educating pupils about personal safety, healthy relationships, and online awareness, helping them recognise unsafe situations and make positive choices.
- Identifying and supporting pupils in need of help, care, or protection through timely and compassionate intervention.
- Equipping all staff with the skills, training, and confidence to recognise safeguarding concerns and take prompt, appropriate action.
- Working closely with families and external partners to ensure every child receives consistent, joined-up support.
