We’re excited to share some wonderful news — Sowing Seeds Alternative Learning was named
a finalist in the Specialist Provision of the Year category at the Telegraph & Argus’ Bradford
Education Awards 2025 and had the privilege of attending the finals at The Cedar Court Hotel,
Bradford.

a finalist in the Specialist Provision of the Year category at the Telegraph & Argus’ Bradford
Education Awards 2025 and had the privilege of attending the finals at The Cedar Court Hotel,
Bradford.
Although we didn’t win the award, being recognised among Bradford’s most outstanding
education providers is a huge achievement — and to us, it truly feels like a win.
What makes this moment even more meaningful is that we were the only unregistered
alternative provision to reach the finals. That speaks volumes about the impact of the work we
do and the difference alternative education can make in the lives of young people in Bradford,
West Yorkshire and across the country – whether it’s at our centre in Idle, at home and/or online.
At Sowing Seeds, our focus has always been on creating a neuro-inclusive safe, supportive and
inspiring space for learners. Reaching the finals is a powerful reminder that every child deserves
an education and wellbeing model that meets them emotionally and academically where they
are — and that alternative provision is not just valid, but vital.
We want to thank our incredible team, our brave and talented learners, and the families and
schools who partner with us and believe in our approach. This recognition belongs to all of you.
We’re proud, we’re grateful, and we’re more motivated than ever to keep doing what we do
best: sowing seeds of growth, confidence and possibility.
