OFSTED Reports.

Sowing Seeds Alternative Learning is currently awaiting our Ofsted pre-registration inspection, an essential step in becoming a registered independent school. This visit allows Ofsted to assess whether we meet the required standards in areas such as safeguarding, leadership, curriculum, and the quality of provision.

Once we successfully meet these criteria, we will be issued a Department for Education (DfE) number, confirming our registration as an approved education provider. At present, we operate as a non-school provision, meaning we are not yet registered with Ofsted and therefore offer alternative education in partnership with parents, carers, and local authorities under current legal guidelines.

At Sowing Seeds Alternative Learning, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in everything we do.

As an alternative provision currently in the pre-inspection stage, we have not yet been inspected by Ofsted. Once an inspection has taken place, we will publish our Ofsted report and outcome on this page, along with any actions or strengths identified.

In addition to sharing Ofsted inspection information, we will also publish an annual summary of complaints received each academic year, in line with Department for Education (DfE) expectations for independent and alternative education providers.

At present, we have not received any complaints. Once operational data is available, we will update this section each year to include:

• The number of formal complaints received,
• Whether they were resolved at the informal or formal stage, and
• Any actions taken to address identified areas for improvement.
